It was cold and dark December when I first met Carla & Trev, I had just brought a Star Wars t-shirt I was dying to wear, but thought I better not. Turned out within minutes the conversation turned to Star Wars, I knew from then this was a wedding I was going to enjoy - and I guess I could have worn the shirt. Where December was cold and dark, the wedding day was warmth and light - and that wasn't just down to the weather. Arriving at Swarling Manor early it didn’t take long to fall in love with the venue, in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the venue is surrounded by rolling hills and fields.
The morning had such a relaxed and happy vibe, it was clear Carla was surrounded by love, from both her friends and her daughter Lyla. In fact the whole day was filled with love, and the presence of those who were sadly no longer with us. I felt lucky to be invited to be a part of such a wonderful day.
Carla and Trev are such a lovely couple, and were up for a laugh - it made for some easy photographing! Whether it was walking in waist high fields, or climbing onto the giant tree stump they were happy to give anything a go. The fun atmosphere carried on in to the night, and by the end I was having so much fun with the guests I almost forgot I was working!
I’ll let the photos speak for the rest - the full gallery for guests can be found here.
Carla and Trev I wish you a lifetime of happiness.
